This page covers the PearlFlow website at pearlflow.app and our demo-request forms on Facebook and Instagram: what we collect when you visit or contact us, and why. Patient information that a dental practice shares with us to use PearlFlow is handled under the Business Associate Agreement we sign with that practice, not under this page.
When you contact us
The demo form asks for your name and email, and optionally your practice, phone number, practice management system, number of locations and a message. We use these only to reply to you and talk about PearlFlow.
The form sends your message to our team's inbox by email. It is not saved in a database. We keep the email for as long as we're in touch with you, and delete it if you ask.
If you request a demo through a form in one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, you share your name, email, phone number, practice name, practice management system and number of locations with us. We use them only to contact you about a demo, and we don't sell or share them. Meta holds these form answers for us, and we keep a copy for as long as we're in touch with you, then delete it if you ask.
The Meta Pixel
The website uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), so we can tell whether our ads reach the right people. It tells Meta:
- that a page on pearlflow.app was viewed, and
- that a demo request was sent, without anything you typed into the form.
Meta may set cookies and connect these visits to a Facebook or Instagram account you're signed in to. It uses them to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Meta's own use of this information is covered by Meta's privacy policy.
We have turned off the Pixel's automatic detection of buttons and forms, so it doesn't read what's on the page or what you type.
Your choices
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Pixel doesn't load at all.
- Ad settings. You can change how Meta uses website activity for ads in your Facebook ad preferences.
- Cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
- Your messages. Ask us to delete anything you sent through the form, and we will.
Other services the site uses
- Amazon Web Services hosts the site and sends form messages to our inbox. We don't keep access logs of site visits.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.
We don't sell your personal information. The clinic dashboard at app.pearlflow.app has no advertising or analytics code.
Children
The site is meant for dental practices and isn't directed at children.
Changes
If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
